Switch International Energy Case Competition To Hold Energy Professional Panel

The Switch International Energy Case Competition will hold a live panel with energy professionals this Saturday, October 23rd at 9AM CDT.

The title of the panel is “Breaking Into The Energy Industry.” The panel will feature Syed Talha Tirmizi, Petroleum Engineering MS student at UT-Austin; Taylor Lopez-Huebner, Associate at ING Group Energy Banking; Leonel Gomez, Senior Geoscientist at XTO/Unconventionals, ExxonMobil; and Ruth Hahn, Water Chemistry Advisor at Chevron. Topics will include:

• What were your career goals when you were in college? Did they point you toward energy or did that come later?
• How did you decide to go to work or go to graduate school? What were the factors you considered?
• What aspect of your job do you like best with regard to the technical? How about the non-technical - from the perspective of people or travel or reward?
