Announcing 5 New Switch Classroom Alignment Guides

Switch Classroom, SEA’s K-12 online learning platform, is thrilled to announce the release of five new alignment guides, providing educators with valuable resources to seamlessly integrate our activities and lessons into their 5th-12th grade courses. These alignment guides also showcase how Switch Classroom aligns with various rigorous standards, including AP Environmental Science, IB Environmental Systems & Societies, and NGSS (Next Generation Science Standards).

As an online learning platform committed to providing engaging, comprehensive, nonpartisan, and free content, Switch Classroom understands the importance of supporting teachers in their efforts to deliver high-quality science education. Our newly available alignment guides serve as a bridge between Switch Classroom and these specific courses, highlighting which lessons and activities correspond to the standards and topics covered in each curriculum.

Our alignment guide library includes:

• AP Environmental Science
• IB Environmental Systems & Societies
• Physics
• Earth and Environmental Science
• Physical Science
• 4th Grade General Science
• 5th Grade General Science

These guides provide teachers with a roadmap for integrating Switch Classroom activities into their course curriculum, promoting inquiry-based learning and scientific literacy. We understand the importance of providing educators with resources that align with their curricular objectives, saving them valuable time and effort in lesson planning.
