Members of our Teacher Advisory Council (TAC) attended both the North Carolina Science Teachers Association and the Science Teachers Association of Texas Conferences last month. Ruthann McComb, Ben Schosek, and Angela Marraudino, dedicated members of our TAC, showcased Switch Classroom to science educators from elementary to high school levels.
These conferences provided an excellent platform for our TAC to connect with educators, sharing innovative ways to integrate Switch Classroom into their science classrooms. Ruthann and Ben not only highlighted the features of Switch Classroom in North Carolina, but also demonstrated its practical applications by hosting three teacher workshops in partnership with the North Carolina Energy Literacy Fellows Program.
Ruthann, Ben, and Angela made over 350 connections with enthusiastic educators who are now equipped with the knowledge to incorporate Switch Classroom into their lesson plans. The positive response from conference attendees underscored the importance of providing dynamic, free, and engaging tools for energy education.
