The Texas Christian University Energy Institute invited Dr. Scott Tinker to participate in their Kenneth W Davis Jr Leaders in Energy Speaker Series on October 8th, 2020.
Dr. Tinker joined TCU Energy Institute Director Dr. Richard Denne, Assistant Professors Dr. Esayas Gebremichael and Dr. Gehendra Kharel, and students Ahmad Adeyanju and Jenny Wheelan for a discussion about the global energy transition.
“Across the world, the emerging economies are really taking this opportunity to advance themselves,” said Dr. Tinker. “And that’s powerful.”
Founded in 2007, the TCU Energy Institute is a multidisciplinary academic program that integrates all of TCU’s educational resources to provide a unique opportunity for students, faculty, professionals and the industry to examine energy resources. The Institute focuses on education and research of geothermal basins, wind farms and oil and gas from domestic shale deposits.
