Enerplus Invites Dr. Scott Tinker to Present on Critical Thinking for Equitable Energy

Dr. Scott Tinker presented to the Enerplus Corporation on critical thinking for equitable energy on March 10th, 2021.

In his presentation, Dr. Tinker highlighted the recent power outages in Texas as evidence of the need for equitable energy. Balancing demand and supply requires a portfolio of generation options in order to be reliable.

Dr. Tinker defined “equitable energy” as “access to affordable and reliable energy, which underpin a healthy economy and a clean environment.”

Enerplus is one of Canada’s largest independent oil and gas producers. The company holds oil and natural gas property interest in the United States and in western Canada, in the provinces of Alberta, British Columbia and Saskatchewan. Founded in 1986, Enerplus is Canada's first income trust.
