In his presentation, Dr. Tinker highlighted the recent power outages in Texas as evidence of the need for equitable energy. Balancing demand and supply requires a portfolio of generation options in order to be reliable.
Dr. Tinker defined “equitable energy” as “access to affordable and reliable energy, which underpin a healthy economy and a clean environment.”
