IAGC Webinar: Energy in the Time of COVID

The International Association of Geophysical Contractors (IAGC) and Dr. Tinker talked about how COVID-19 has changed the energy industry. While vehicle production, manufacturing, energy consumption, and emissions are all down, global debt is up.

Dr. Tinker said that the post-COVID transition will require finding a balance between what he calls the “Three E’s”: Economy, Energy, and the Environment. Instead of letting politics dictate energy decisions, Dr. Tinker advocates for a “Radical Middle” that considers all three facets of the energy industry.

The IAGC is the global trade association for the geophysical and exploration industry with more than 80 member companies in nearly 50 countries.
