PESA Hosts Dr. Scott Tinker to Address Global Energy in the Time of COVID

The Petroleum Equipment & Services Association (PESA) and Dr. Tinker discussed how COVID-19 has impacted every sector of the energy industry.  Due to the rapid spread of the pandemic, the energy mix coming out will be what it was going in; however, what could change are energy opinions and attitudes.

Dr. Tinker said he’d like to see more of the “radical middle”, thinking of energy not in terms of “clean” or “dirty” but instead taking a holistic approach to lifting humans out of energy poverty and minimizing environmental impacts.

PESA is the national trade association for the oilfield services and equipment sector, representing more than 500,000 jobs in the technology-driven energy value chain.
