SEA UK Partner Solar for Schools Launches New App!

Our UK-based partner, Solar for Schools, has released a new app that provides students with a detailed curriculum covering environment, energy, electricity, efficiency, solar power and more. By incorporating the Switch Energy Alliance video content into their app, Solar for Schools has helped over 80,000 students learn about energy and the environment through their education lessons.

The app contains learning modules with 20 + SEA videos and hundreds of quiz questions to gain and test your background knowledge about renewable energy technology.

Interested in helping your school go solar? Use a simple drag-and-drop solar designer to place solar panels on schools across the country.

Solar for Schools is looking for pioneer teachers who adopt this app as part of their teaching. To access all the content in the app and become a pioneer, sign up on their website and enter your school name as ‘Switch Energy Alliance’. It’s totally free, no ads ever, and your feedback about the app will shape its further development for US schools. Teachers can access educator handbooks to help guide their use of the app.

Download the Solar for Schools App in the App Store or Google Play.
