Switch Energy Alliance is proud to present Switch Classroom. You can Register Now to get started as a teacher or a student.
Designed with the help of our teacher advisory council, Switch Classroom’s energy curriculum follows the College Board® Advanced Placement Environmental Science guidelines. Through videos, quizzes, and free response activities, students will learn to think critically about energy resources, energy fundamentals, resource distribution, consumption, supply & demand, sustainability, and conservation.
We recommend reviewing the information provided in the Teacher Guide section of the Switch Classroom website first, which includes quick-start steps, a site tour, instructions for use, essential knowledge codes and science practices, as well as FAQs. We are also working on some step-by-step tutorials that will be coming soon.
On the Switch Classroom homepage, you will also find a welcome video from SEA's chairman Dr. Scott Tinker. “We’re excited to welcome you to this first inaugural course,” says Dr. Tinker. “We hope that you share it with your colleagues, and as always, we welcome your feedback.”
Our mission at Switch Energy Alliance is to inspire an energy educated future with objective, nonpartisan content and curriculum that teachers feel confident about bringing into their schools, and Switch Classroom is a platform that we believe will do just that.
