At Switch Energy Alliance, our mission is to support an energy educated future. We thank all the high school AP science teachers who encouraged us to develop tools to make teaching energy topics fun, accessible, and expert driven.
Our inaugural course is built around the energy unit of the College Board® AP Environmental Science guidelines. This course comprehensively covers energy resources (oil, natural gas, nuclear, solar, wind, biomass, hydropower, and geothermal) as well as energy fundamentals, resource distribution, consumption, supply & demand, sustainability, and conservation. It is perfect for science teachers who are looking for innovative ways to teach these topics.
We provide engaging videos and presentations along with quizzes and high-level activities in a structured curriculum that can be adapted to meet the needs of each class. We developed functions that allow teachers to enroll, track and review student work in an intuitive, user-friendly way.
