Switch Energy Alliance took definitive steps in our energy education mission with the inauguration of our first annual Teacher Advisory Council workshop. Elite Advanced Placement Environmental Science teachers from around the country congregated at our Austin location over June 26th – 28th to cultivate innovative curriculum, and discuss the role of energy education in today’s society. Split into three focused breakout groups, each group developed its own hands-on learning path. With these developments, and the continuing work of our team, we hope that Switch’s new online AP Environmental Science curriculum will be integrated into AP classrooms across the country, impacting and educating over 200,000 students every year.
